Delete your BookPro account
You can delete your BookPro account and personal data at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, and what we must keep by law.
Before you delete
To protect your money, we can only delete an account that has nothing still in progress. First:
- withdraw or spend any money left in your wallet;
- finish or cancel any open bookings, so nothing is held in escrow;
- wait for any dispute or withdrawal to finish.
If something is still open, the app tells you exactly what to finish first.
Delete in the app
- Open the BookPro app and sign in with your phone number.
- Go to Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Delete account and read what will be deleted.
- Enter your transaction PIN, if you have set one, and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.
Ask us by email
If you cannot use the app, email support@bookpro.ng with the subject “Delete my BookPro account”. Send it from the email address on your account if you can, and include the phone number you signed up with. To protect you, we confirm the request with a code sent to that phone number before deleting anything. We complete verified requests within 30 days and reply to confirm.
You can also ask us to delete some of your data without closing your account, such as photos or portfolio images.
What we delete
- Your name, phone number, email address and profile photo.
- Your pro profile, bio and portfolio photos, if you are a pro. Your profile disappears from BookPro.
- Chats that never led to a booking.
- Your sign-in sessions and notification settings.
What we keep, and why

You can sign up again later with the same phone number; it will be a new account. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
