  2. Chat & agree a price

    Message the pro, share photos and details, and agree a fair price before you pay anything.

  3. Pay into escrow from your wallet

    BookPro holds the money in escrow. Your pro can see it is there, but cannot touch it yet.

  4. Both confirm. The pro is paid.

    When the work is finished, you both confirm in the app. Only then is the money released to the pro.

Protected payments

Escrow simply means BookPro holds your payment in the middle. It has left your wallet, but the pro receives it only when you both confirm the job is done.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I pay for a booking?

First, add money to your BookPro wallet by bank transfer. The app gives you an account number generated just for you; send money to it from any Nigerian bank app and your wallet is credited once the payment is confirmed.

When you and your pro agree a price, you pay from your wallet into escrow. A booking only exists once it is paid, so your pro knows the money is there. Screenshots never count as payment: only the status in BookPro does.

When is the money released to the pro?

Only when you both confirm the job is done. The pro marks the job as done and you confirm it in the app, in either order. The moment the second confirmation arrives, the money is released to the pro.

Not happy with the work? Do not confirm. Open a dispute instead and the money stays in escrow.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Either of you can open a dispute at any time before the money is released. The payment stays frozen in escrow while you both share evidence, such as photos and messages. Our team reviews everything and decides to refund you, pay the pro, or split the amount fairly.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, before the pro starts. You currently get a full refund to your wallet if you cancel within 15 minutes of paying, or up to 2 hours before the appointment. The app shows the exact window for each booking.

If a pro cancels, or does not show up, you get a full refund too.

What does BookPro cost?

Downloading BookPro and creating an account is free. You see the full price of every booking before you pay, and any top-up fee is shown in the app before you send money.

For pros: when you withdraw, the bank transfer fee charged by our payment provider is deducted, plus the ₦50 government stamp duty on withdrawals of ₦10,000 or more, and the app shows exactly what you will receive before you confirm.

Which cities does BookPro serve?

We are opening city by city, starting small so we can get every booking right. The app shows the cities and areas open near you, and we will announce new ones here.

How does BookPro keep me safe?

Every pro is reviewed by our team before they can be booked. Your payment stays in escrow until you both confirm, and bank account numbers sent in chat are hidden to stop requests to pay outside the app. You can report or block anyone, and every report reaches our team.

When does BookPro launch?

Soon. We are testing BookPro with a small group of invited users first. It launches on Android (Google Play) first, with iPhone to follow. The download buttons on this page go live the moment the app does.
